Captain Steve was back on the Columbia River today with returning clients Jim Roberts and his family—and what a day it was.
This crew knows how to have a good time, and the action started early. Walleye after walleye hit the deck, and the rods stayed busy from start to finish. The mix of solid fish and nonstop laughter made for a memorable day on the water.

Right now, the walleye bite is firing up in a big way. With the post-spawn transition in full swing, the fish are feeding more aggressively, and we’re seeing a real uptick in both numbers and size. The quality of fish just keeps improving, and it’s only going to get better from here.

Spring walleye season is one of our favorite times of year, and today was a perfect reminder why. Good people, great fishing, and memories that stick.
