20 Fish Days and 100-Inch Sturgeon Week Three 06-15 /006-21-2006

The third week of June kicked off much like the previous weeks, with our crew chasing walleye and sturgeon on the Columbia River out of Tri-Cities, Washington, and Umatilla, Oregon. Now is a great time to get in on the action. While the walleye bite has slowed slightly, the fish are still finding their way into the boats. Our crew are currently averaging around 20 walleye per day, and I expect the bite to improve in the coming weeks as conditions continue to develop. The sturgeon fishing, however, is absolutely on fire right now. With fish moving upriver toward the dams to spawn, we’re seeing incredible numbers of giant sturgeons. This week alone, we landed several fish over 100 inches, with our largest stretching beyond the 120-inch mark. If you’ve never had the opportunity to go toe-to-toe with one of these Columbia River giants, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. The power, the fight, and the sheer size of these fish make it a true bucket-list adventure and a catch of a lifetime. The weather is warming up, the fishing is outstanding, and our crews are ready to get you on the water. Whether you’re after walleye for the fryer or looking to battle a river monster, Fisher’s Catch Outfitters has you covered.
