5.09 Walleye with the Ferguson Group
What a beautiful day for fishing. The weather conditions were nice for being out on the water, but not the best for great walleye fishing. The water conditions proved to be a little challenging as well. With the dams wide open and and Priest running 220k it was fast, dirty and 51 degrees. With a little blessing from the author of our story we had a fabulous day on the Columbia River. The group put 25 walleye to the boat, 9 bass and got to bend the 6’6″ walleye jigging rod on a sturgeon (we did not land the sturg) . We look forward to fishing with Ryan, Michael, Dan and Rich aging in the near future!
