It was back to the Tri-Cities walleye grounds today for Pro Guide Tony (T-Fish) and his crew. The guys traveled all the way out from Iowa for a Columbia River walleye adventure—and that’s exactly what we gave them.

The morning started off a little slow, with the fish playing hide-and-seek, but persistence paid off. We landed a couple of quality fish, which were released back into the river to keep this incredible fishery thriving. (With FCO, all walleye 22″ and over are returned to the Columbia.)

But don’t worry—we didn’t throw them all back! With patience and persistence, we got into a solid batch of eater-sized walleye, perfect for the crew’s poolside fish fry. The day wrapped up just right: a great dinner, cold beers, and plenty of laughs.

Tomorrow, the crew will switch gears and meet up with Captain Mike in Hood River for an afternoon-evening salmon trip. Whether it’s salmon, sturgeon, or walleye—you name it, FCO has you covered.
