Back on the Walleye Grounds

We’re officially back to the walleye grind for the winter, and it feels good to be chasing gold again and again. We fish walleye here at FCO year around!

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff and his dad, who joined me for a quick morning trip after wrapping up their weekend of hunting. The weather was crisp, the bite was steady, and we put some solid fish in the boat before noon. Great guys, great conversation, and a smooth start to the season.

The transition from fall to winter is always exciting—fewer boats, colder water, and hungry eyes on the move.
