Night Ops Kick Off With a Dirty 30

It’s time for night ops for Pro Guide Tony, kicking off a couple-month stretch of after-dark fishing that we look forward to every year. Tonight’s trip had longtime clients Jesse and Cory—the brothers from Lewiston, Idaho—back in the boat, along with Lex joining in on the action.

And wouldn’t you know it… Lex ended up boating the exact fish Jesse was hoping for—a 31.5-inch giant walleye weighing 12.6 pounds. Even though Jesse didn’t land the fish himself, the excitement was high all around as another Dirty 30 hit the deck.

That’s how night fishing goes sometimes, and everyone was all smiles. With more nights ahead, we’ll see what tomorrow brings for Jesse and Cory. Trophy season is just getting started.
