It was time to ring in the New Year with some keeper sturgeon fishing. We set out on the 1st to find some sturgeon in the slot limit of 43″-54″ , but with the wind blowing 20-25 mph it made if difficult to fish and even more difficult to e see and feel the bites. Little better fishing conditions today. The wind was blowing on the am so we got and afternoon start and fished into he evening for Walleye after we did and afternoon of Sturgeon. We did not land any keeper sturgeon but did manage some nice walleye.
