It was a  great day of catch and release sturgeon fishing for the crew today. With retention closed its not always about taking one of these awesome fish home to eat. Many times it is just about catching one of these powerful and majestic fish. Today was a day of action with 12 fish to the boat, Lots of smiles, laughter and fun!

The walleye fishing on the Columbia River continues to be awesome. With the fish moving into the spawn many younger fish are feeding and making for a great walleye bite. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team is managing 40-80 fish to the boat per trip. The water temps are at 50 degrees and fish are being found in- feet of water. Trolling worm harnesses and vertical jigging is what is working for the Les Schwab boat.
