Salmon Fishing Guide on Columbia River & Snake River

The Columbia River has become one of the world’s top Salmon fisheries with an unprecedented number of wild and stocked salmon returning from feeding in the pacific ocean.  Over the past few years the salmon run was so impressive that people from Alaska were flying in for the epic fishing.

King Salmon otherwise known as Chinooke Salmon average 22 pounds and often can be caught in the 40 to 50 pound range.  There are two distinct runs of King Salmon between April and November:

  • Spring: March to May
  • Fall: August to November (most numerous)

The fall King Salmon run provides some of the top fishing during the year as the salmon travel further upstream to spawn and in greater numbers.

We pride ourselves on quality service and expert guiding on our Columbia River salmon fishing trips. Our most popular trips are full day trips, although we also offer half day adventures.

  • We provide water but feel free to bring any food or drinks.  We kindly ask that you not bring fried chicken or other greasy food since the bite can come at any time and you may have greasy hands.  We also ask that if you bring other beverages to bring cans or plastic only so that glass does not break.
  • The weather on the boat can be very unpredictable.  We suggest bring rain gear.
  • During the winter it does get cold on the water so please bring layers, gloves, and hand/foot warmers.
  • Sunscreen
