I had the unexpected opportunity to get out on the water tonight with a buddy after my clients canceled at the last minute. While it was unfortunate to have the plans fall through, we couldn’t let that stop us from hitting the water and making the most of the evening. I’m so glad we decided to go for it because it turned into an unforgettable night of fishing!

We ended up landing 18 quality walleye, with plenty of action throughout the evening. But the highlight of the night was definitely when we landed a massive 32-inch walleye weighing in at over 13 pounds. It’s always a thrill to see one of these giant fish hit the boat—it never gets old. Every fish we caught was carefully handled, photographed, and released to swim another day.
