A day off from guiding clients usually means… time to fish! I hit the water with my buddy Chris and boat dog Ruth to chase down some fresh walleye—and we made it happen.

We mixed it up with some bottom bouncing and jigging, and it paid off. Chris is now set up for a top-notch, fish-filled Mother’s Day dinner, and Ruth the boat dog handled her first mate duties like a pro.

Nothing better than a day of laughs, good fishing, and even better company.
