The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew got out on the water for and evening sturgeon and walleye trip with special guest Alonzo Mitz. You may know him as the late 80’s early 90’s #61 defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks. The big man wanted to get out on the water while he was in town visiting some family and friends. We managed to get out and get after the great Columbia river sturgeon. It was about an hour into our trip and boom, fish on. We had the fun of watching Alonso wrestle with a nice 9 foot beast. It was one heck of a good fight for the both of them big man against big fish. The night turned out great with Alonzo landing his first sturgeon and first walleye. He ended hos trip with a nice walleye lunch prepared by the cooks at Clover Island Inn.
