It was walleye pound town with Richard and his son Adam today. They made the four-hour drive over to Umatilla to get in on some walleye action with Pro Guide Tony, and they were definitely not disappointed with the outcome.

The bite was steady, and the guys put a pile of great-quality eater walleye in the boat. On top of that, they landed a few awesome picture fish—those big, healthy Columbia River walleye that we proudly release to help maintain this incredible fishery.

Tony’s drive from Tri-Cities felt like nothing compared to the miles Richard and Adam put in, but the payoff made every minute worth it. The time is now, the bite is good, and the fish are showing up.
