oday we hit the water with Ken, his stepdaughter, and her husband. They made the trip from the west side of the state and from Boise, Idaho, meeting in the middle for a day of fishing on the Columbia.

We launched out of Umatilla, Oregon at 8 a.m. in search of walleye. This was his daughter’s very first fishing trip, and we wasted no time getting her on the bite—first fish landed and plenty more followed. It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, laughs, and new fishing memories.
