From Hawaii to the Columbia 06-22 / 06/28-2026
It was a little slower week for the Fisher’s Catch Outfitters team on the Columbia River. While Miles and Tony took a well-earned break to enjoy a little saltwater fishing in Hawaii, the rest of the crew stayed home battling some relentless June winds. The weather made things challenging. High winds forced us to cancel a few trips, and on several days, it simply wasn’t safe to get out on the water. But whenever Mother Nature gave us a window, our guides made the most of it, putting clients on fish and creating another batch of great memories. It’s certainly been a windy June, but we’re excited to turn the calendar to July. With a full schedule of trips already on the books and anglers eager to bend some rods, we’re expecting another fantastic month on the Columbia. Our boats will be on the water every day in July, weather permitting, targeting walleye, sturgeon, and salmon. We want to thank everyone who has already trusted us with their fishing adventure, and we look forward to welcoming everyone who has trips scheduled in the weeks ahead. If you haven’t booked your Columbia River adventure yet, there’s still time to join us. We can’t wait to see you on the water!
