It was another great day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew on the big Columbia River Sturgeon fishing. We got a total of 4 fish to the Les Schwab boat with all of them being over or under the slot limit. We started the day off with a big white sturgeon that was over 9 feet in length, then boated a 38″ , 40″ and 59″ Sturgeon. Even though we did not get the keeper we were looking for we did find a nice pool of smaller fish and lots of additional bites. The season is still open for retention season as the fishing has been tough in the John Day pool and the quota has not been met.
