The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew got back and focused on the winter sturgeon retention season. It has been an up and down season for the John Day pool and the bite has been slow and in many cases the only bite we get are sturgeon within the 43″-54″ retention slot. Today was not any different than the past few days and with only a couple bites coming we managed to get a keeper and a river monster.
