It was a great weekend fishing the 6th annual King of the Reach Live Capture Derby. The derby started on Friday, October 26th and ended on Sunday October 28th. With he three boys on the Monte sled we managed to bring in 56 nice adult salmon to the live capture truck. We landed 42 fish on Friday not all were live capture worthy some jacks and some hatchery. Saturday the boys managed to be the top boat in their area with 17 fish brought into the liver capture truck. We finished Sunday with 7 fish and that got the boys 56 total fish and a 4th place over all win between 80 boats and 275 anglers. Miles managed a 2nd place win in the youth anglers. All in all it was a great weekend a great event and 1209 adult wild salmon are now at the hatchery to help in the assistance of continued salmon fishing on the Hanford Reach.
