Day two with Matt, Brian, and Preston went really well for Preston tonight. He traveled all the way from Colorado to try to beat his personal best of a 27″ walleye. Although we may have done that yesterday with a 28″ walleye, Preston was determined to land a Columbia River Dirty30. The night started strong with the first fish being a 30.5″ walleye, weighing in at 11.6 lbs—Preston officially made it into the Dirty30 Club! The action didn’t stop there as we fished through the night and landed plenty of fish. But the highlight of the evening came when Preston broke his personal best again, landing a stunning 31″ walleye. Not only did he hit the Dirty30 mark, but he hit it twice! Now, we just need to get Matt into the Dirty30 Club. Maybe tomorrow night, on night three, will be his time.
