It was a quick and productive early afternoon on the water for the crew aboard Pro Guide Steve’s boat. Joining him were longtime clients who also elk hunt with him every year—always great to see familiar faces back in the boat.

They kicked things off pulling cranks, but with the bite slower than it’s been over the last couple of weeks, Steve made the call to switch things up. That move paid off. Switching over to worm harnesses and trolling, they dialed it in and put 20 fish in the boat in just a few hours.
