We were back on the sturgeon grounds with Mark and Travis, originally lined up for a split day of walleye and sturgeon. But the sturgeon had other plans—and we weren’t about to argue.

The bite was on fire. These fish came to play, and they played hard. Rods were bending, drags were screaming, and it was nonstop action from start to finish. We called an audible and stuck with sturgeon all day—and it paid off big time.

Some days the fish make the call, and today was one of those days. What a blast with a great crew!
