The Walleye went Bananas Today
Fishers Catch Outfitters crew found some great Walleye today on the Columbia River. We set out from the dock at 7 am with O’brien crew and Jesse from Montana, the Big Sky Country. This was a special day for many reasons, and the Lord blessed it in may ways. We started the day of with Walleye Wilke bending the rod on a nice 32″ – 13 lb 15 oz big female Columbia River Walleye, the big fish to the boat. With a little CPR we quickly released her to go do he duty and spawn. The day did not stop there. The weather was good and the water was 37.7 degrees. I thought it would be good to get 10-12 walleye to the Les Schwab boat today but we were blessed beyond that with a total fish count of 30 Walleye. Not including Miles landing a nice small mouth and a big pike minnow today we sent the clients home with some great eating! Not to mention one of them opening his lunch and “my girlfriend packed my lunch” as he throws the Banana over, lol. Miles retrieved the banana from the Big -C and returned it back to the owner with 2 large bags of fresh walleye filet’s. I guess we myth busted that one! Here are some pictures of this awesome day! Enjoy and Bent Rods and Tight Lines!
