Trophy Season Starts With a Giant 33.5 Inches of Proof: Trophy Time Is Here 12/29/2025
Tonight we kicked off Trophy Walleye Season, the time of year when we chase personal bests and hunt for the next state record. This is our favorite stretch of the year, and Pro Guide Tony has the program absolutely dialed in.
It was a night of bent rods and first-time catches for the guys on the boat. And while the season is just getting started, we may have already put a serious contender in the net. The big fish of the night taped out at 33.5 inches and weighed 16 pounds—an incredible trophy walleye by any standard.
There’s still plenty of season left, and we’re hoping to top it, but if this ends up being the fish of the year, it’s one we’d be proud of. The big girls are showing up, and every night is a shot at something special.
Don’t wait to get on the books—these trophy trips fill fast and stay in high demand. Now’s the time to chase a giant.
