It was back to the sturgeon grounds for us today on the Fisher’s Catch Outfitters boat. The bite has been slow lately, with very few keepers hitting the boats. Today was no exception—we had just one bite all day.

Not wanting to send the guys home empty-handed, we made a last-minute call with a couple of hours to go and headed to the walleye grounds to see if we could jig up some fish. That decision paid off big time! In just a short time, the guys boated and took home 30 walleye for the fryer.
