It was a little slower week to wrap up the month of May here at Fisher’s Catch Outfitters. Between some challenging weather conditions and a lighter booking schedule, we didn’t spend quite as many days on the water as we normally do. Even so, the trips we did run were outstanding, and every client headed home with smiles and memories from a great day of fishing. We also took the opportunity to sneak out on a night walleye scouting trip to see how the bite was shaping up. The results were encouraging, with the crew finding active fish and plenty of action throughout the evening. The night bite is looking strong as we move deeper into summer. As we head into the heart of the season, we’re excited about what’s ahead. June brings some of the best opportunities of the year for walleye, sturgeon, and shad fishing on the Columbia River.
