Epic Finish: Walleye and Monster Sturgeon for Chris and the Crew 04/27/2025

Epic Finish: Walleye and Monster Sturgeon for Chris and the Crew Day three marked the final chapter of an unforgettable trip for Chris and the crew. We kicked things off with a productive walleye session in the morning, then switched gears in the afternoon for something the guys had never done before — chasing sturgeon. And wow, did it pay off. The walleye bite stayed strong early, filling the cooler one last time. But the highlight of the day? Watching every one of these guys battle and land sturgeon — including two absolute beasts over 10 feet long! It was a hands-down epic finish to a three-day adventure they won’t forget. Huge thanks to Chris and the crew for fishing with us. What a ride!

Day Two: More Fillets and More Fun for Chris and the Crew 04/26/2025

Day Two: More Fillets and More Fun for Chris and the Crew Day two for Chris and the gang was another solid one on the Columbia. We hit the water a little earlier, hoping to find some fish up in the shallows. While we picked up a few nice ones, the big bite we were hunting didn’t show. Still, the day turned out great — steady action, plenty of laughs, and more fillets packed into the cooler. Two days in, and this crew is stacking up some serious walleye!

Day One Success for Chris and the Crew 04/25/2025

Day One Success for Chris and the Crew Chris and the guys made their way over for a three-day walleye adventure with us here at Fisher’s Catch Outfitters. Today was day one, and what a start it was! From the first lines in the water, the laughs were flowing and the fish were biting. We got on a solid bite early and stayed on it, putting together a full limit of walleye for the boat. The crew kept 40 fish and released plenty more throughout the day. If today’s any sign of what’s to come, the next two days are going to be a blast. Stay tuned — more walleye action on the way!

Curt and the Crew Crushed It on the Columbia! What a day out on the water! Curt and the gang joined us for some Columbia River walleye action, and the fish were ready to play. The bite was hot from the start, and we took full advantage — stacking the FCO boat with plenty of eaters for the crew. Beautiful spring weather, steady action, and a boatload of happy anglers made for one of those unforgettable days on the water. Back on the Water and Back on the Walleye 04/22/2025

Back on the Water and Back on the Walleye After a successful day of turkey hunting yesterday, we were back on the walleye grounds today with DJ and the crew. And what a day of catching it was! We trolled worms through a slot that was holding fish, and it didn’t take long — we made it happen in a hurry. The gals headed home with big smiles and bags full of fillets. Spring’s heating up, and so is the bite. Let’s get you on the schedule with Fisher’s Catch Outfitters!

A Hunt to Remember: Hailey’s First Bow Kill 04/21/2025

A Hunt to Remember: Hailey’s First Bow Kill Took a break from chasing walleye all over the Columbia and spent the day chasing turkeys through the woods of Spokane. This wasn’t just any hunt — it was my oldest daughter Hailey’s first turkey hunt, and if all went well, it would be her first bow kill. Well… we did it. We were successful. What a day to remember. Sharing that moment with Hailey was something special. Another one checked off the list, kiddo. Well done — proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Adjusting to Spring Conditions and Stacking Walleye 04/20/2025

Adjusting to Spring Conditions and Stacking Walleye With water conditions changing as spring approaches, we’re making the right adjustments to keep our clients on fish. Today was a big success for Ezra and the crew — they flat-out whooped up on the walleye, putting together a quick boat limit and getting off the water before the late afternoon winds picked up. It was also a special day, with my son-in-law jumping in to deckhand for the crew. All in all, an absolutely awesome day on the water. The bite is hot — now’s the time to get your trip on the books with Fisher’s Catch Outfitters!
