The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew took a few days off from running clients and set out to have a little fun on the big pond. With the Rock fish limits at 7 each, Lings at 2 each, and crabs 6 each it fills the fish box fills fast. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew is thinking of running some Westport Rock and cab trips. ot to spend the day off fishing with good buddy Ryan. We decided to run down to the mouth of the Deschutes on the Columbia River and ee if we could find some Up River Bright's on there way up river. It did not disappoint, managed to go 1 for 5. Not sure why they would not stay hooked up but all in all great fun. Had the opportunity to take a great client out for some never before caught white sturgeon fishing. We set out for a big momma but fell a little short of the big one. We did ,manage to catch 14 sturgeon and keep busy reeling in fish. Fun day on the Columbia River. Now is the time to get out on the water or get your adventure booked for next year. Lets Fish! It has been a little bit of a slower bite for the walleye. We managed to get a dozen nice walleye to the boat in a half day trip, but pretty slow fishing for the Fishers Catch Out fitters Team. I guess that is why they call in fishing and not catching. With September just around the corner is is about time to switch gears again and get back on the salmon. One of the best fisheries is just around the corner with the September 15th kick off of Hanford Reach fall fishing. Montana Bob did another stop in and fished with the FCO-Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. It was not bang bang but we managed to get some fish in the boat and put a smile on Bob's face. The FCO-Fishers Catch Outfitters team headed back up river to the upper Columbia in search of some summer chinooks. We found ourselves once again in the Brewster Pool. It did not disappoint, the fishing in the pool has been tough on this team but we managed go get a couple in the boat. 837 put some fish on the line and had a great time doing it.
