Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report
Sockeye Slam with Captain Wade 07/18/2025
We took a break from the walleye grind today and headed up the Columbia for some sockeye salmon—and it paid off. Captain Wade had the crew dialed in early, and the fish were snapping. The action was steady, the vibes were high, and limits came quick. Nothing better than a successful morning chasing chrome on the upper river. Big thanks to the crew for making it a fun one!
Back at It with Mark and the Crew 07/17/2025
It was a solid day on the water with returning client Mark and the gang. It’s been a little while since we’ve had the pleasure of fishing together, but we picked up right where we left off—catching fish! The bite was on, the fish were ready to play, and the crew made the most of it. Great laughs, great fishing, and a great day all around. Always a blast having Mark on board. Let’s not wait so long for the next one!
Night Ops Success with Pro Guide Steve 07/16/2025
It was a night of night ops for Fishers Catch Outfitters' own Pro Guide Steve—and the move paid off big. This time of year, when the temps climb, we shift gears and beat the heat with some night fishing. Tonight was the perfect example of why we do it: calm water, cooler temps, and plenty of quality fish hitting the deck on the Willy Boat. The night bite is on—and it’s time to get your next adventure booked. Let’s go fishing!
Lights Out Walleye Bite Little Evening Walleye Fishing 07/15/2025
We switched things up and hit the water for some evening/night walleye trolling—and man, was it worth it. It’s been a bit since we’ve fished this bite, and we forgot how fun this fishery really is. The walleye were fired up and Jeremy, our neighbor, went home with a solid haul for the family. What made it even better? A night of guides just having fun. Myself, The Legend, Pro Guide Steve, and Pro Guide Mike all showed up and got it done. Great fish, great company, and a night to remember on the Columbia.
Fast Limits on the Sockeye Grounds 07/14/2025
It was a quick morning for Captain Wade out on the sockeye grounds. With current numbers where they’re at, the bite in the Brewster Pool is hot—and limits are coming fast. If sockeye is on your bucket list, this is a fishery you don’t want to miss next year. Quick action, beautiful mornings, and big returns—get in on it!
Cranking Walleye with the Casey and his wife 07/13/2025
Killer day on the water with Casey and his wife! These two came out ready to fish, and we put the new Havocs from Vertical Jigs and Lures to work. We spent the day cranking up walleye, and the Havocs delivered—big time. If you haven’t had the chance to get these in the water yet, you’re missing out. They flat-out catch fish. Great company, great gear, and another great day on the Columbia!
The Legend Strikes Again 07/12/2025
Another killer day on the water—this time with Kurt and the crew. Kurt’s been a huge supporter of the team here at FCO, and it’s always a blast having him on board. They launched out of Plymouth, WA, and The Legend wasted no time putting them on the walleye. The bite was on, the coolers filled up, and the crew had a great time reeling them in. Big thanks to Kurt and the gang for another fun trip. Can’t wait for the next one!
Hard Work, Good Company, and Solid Results 07/11/2025
Had the pleasure of fishing with Gary and his crew again this year. He’s been out with us several times, and it’s always a good time when he’s on the boat. The groups he brings are top-notch, and today was no different. The bite didn’t come easy—we had to grind a little more than expected—but we put in the time, stayed on it, and made it happen. Effort paid off, fish hit the deck, and we wrapped up another great trip with a great crew. Looking forward to the next one, Gary!
10 Years of Fish, Fun, and CED 07/10/2025
It was another great day on the water with the crew from CED and their guests. I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with these guys and their customers for over 10 years now—and every trip is a blast. Today was a short one, with the group needing to head out by 11 a.m., but we made it count. We started off trolling for walleye, then switched gears to target sturgeon—and the pressure was on. In just a few hours, the rods were bending, the fish were biting, and the laughs were flowing. Always a great time with this crew, and we’re already looking forward to the next round.
