Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report
June 9th & 10th With the Kids
The Fishers Catch Outfitters team spent the day at the Umatilla Family Fishing ponds putting kids on fish and showing them how to fish at the first annual kids fish camp. The FCO team paired up Justin at the Prosser Ace to make sure each kid didn't only learn how to fish but went home with their own equipment so they could keep fishing. June 3rd Oregon Coast Crab Fun
Spent a couple days at the Oregon Coast with the family. This was not a Fishers Catch Outfitters trip but a family trip. We managed to make a morning out on the water dropping crab baskets and worked up a few for a nice family dinner. Lot of fun and if you are looking for a day with the family to crab, just make your way to Kelly's Marina. Walleye on the Columbia June 2nd
The walleye fishing on the Columbia River has been good to even great. Lots of fish being caught and lots of fun had! The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew is currently fishing bellow McNary dam on the Columbia River. We are targeting walleye in 45-50 feet of water with worm harnesses as well a jigs. Success with both presentations is putting a number of walleye in the Les Schwab boat. The colors we are currently doing well with is greens on 1.1 smile blades and Chocolate Chip, Key Lime, Shrimp and Glitter bug on jigs. June 1st back on Walleye grounds
The walleye fishing on the Columbia River has been good to even great. Lots of fish being caught and lots of fun had! May 30th Lake Chelan Kokanee
It was the second day of a 3 day run on Lake Chelan. We set out each year to get after the kokanee on this lake. The limit is 10 fish and this years fish had an average size of 13-13 inches. These are fun fish to catch and great eating. They may not be the biggest but tons of fun. We will be looking to run Kokanee trips this up coming 2022 season give us a call and get on the books for next year 509-727-7137. May 29th Lake Chelan Kokanee FUN, FUN ,FUN
