another great day on the water here at Drano Lake catching fall salmon. Today was another day of trolling for this crew and fighting these hard fighting salmon. The fishing is hot and we expect it too continue to be great for the next few weeks. Spent the day with family fishing the great Drano Lake for fall salmon. It was a morning of bent rods and tight lines for the guys. Git to get my father in law on is first salmon and first time on the boat with us. It was limits for everyone. We spent the morning trolling super baits filled with tuna. With the bites on the Hanford Reach being a little slower this early in the season, we decided to load up and head down river to Drano Lake and see what we could make happen for Bob. It was a day of catching and Bob took a couple more nice Columbia River Chinook home. We are back on the Hanford Reach chasing salmon after and evening of sturgeon fishing. Today we had day one with long time client Montana Bob. It was a bit of a grinder today with not many bites. We only had a couple opportunities to put fish in the boat and we managed to get a couple on the board before the bite stopped. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Did a little afternoon evening Sturgeon trip between salmon fishing for clients that wanted to get a Columbia River Sturgeon checked off his bucket list. It was a night of smaller fish up until the last few minutes of the trip. Just before we deicide to wrap up and call it a night Mike hooks into a giant 9 foot beast.
