The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out in search of the 2020 keeper sturgeon. With the weather finally calming and allowing the Les Schwab boat on the water we manage to get some keeper sturgeon on cards. It was a fun day on the water and a success. Don't forget a nice hot lunch on a cold day!
Happy New Year 01.02.2020
It was time to ring in the New Year with some keeper sturgeon fishing. We set out on the 1st to find some sturgeon in the slot limit of 43"-54" , but with the wind blowing 20-25 mph it made if difficult to fish and even more difficult to e see and feel the bites. With the first not letting up the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew py the Les Schwab boat on the trailer and called is a day. We set out today in search of them again. Little better fishing conditions today. The wind was blowing on the am so we got and afternoon start and fished into he evening for Walleye after we did and afternoon of Sturgeon. We did not land any keeper sturgeon but did manage some nice walleye.

Winter Walleye 12/21
Today proved to be a little tougher day than the past couple weeks for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. We set out to get some eater sized walleye in the and ran across some giants. Our first fish came in at 32" and 14.14 it was a fish of a life time for Steve. Not only his first walleye but first ever walleye, Awesome fish Steve! Our next fish cam in at 28' and went 9 pounds 5 ounces. It was a personal best for Justin. Then we finished up that drift with a 5 pound 10 ounce Small Mouth. All in all this was a fun day for the crew from O'BRIEN Construction. We managed a few additional fish that day so they went home with some chicken of the Columbia as well.
Winter Steelhead Hells Canyon 12/13/2019
The Fishers Catch Outfitters team headed to the canyon to meet up with the Hell Bent River Charters team. What a great weekend we has staying in Copper Creek Lodge and fishing with Tyler and Tiff at HB. We managed to bring home some nice steelhead taking a break from our winter Walleye season running clients and doing a family trip. My bride even got into the action landing the fist fish of the weekend. Give us a call to get in on some of this great action in the canyon.
Winter Walleye December 8th
The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew spent the afternoon in search of the awesome Columbia River Walleye. With the way we fished them up yesterday we figured why not go after them again. We got a little later start as it is Sunday and we went to morning church service. So with a 11 am launch and a 4 pm back on the trailer, here is how the day went. I started the day with hooking a nice Fenwick rod from about 60 feet deep. After posting it on facebook last night we found the owner that lost it just the Saturday before. With 4 hours on the water we managed to get another nice mess of Columbia River Walleye and had fun doing it. It is time to get your winter walleye trips booked if you have not done so already. 509-727-7137
