Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

April 8th Sturgeon

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew didn't let the rain stop them from spending the day on the Columbia River chasing Columbia River White Sturgeon! With Dave and Bob in town to do a little catch and release sturgeon fishing, that is just what we did. We managed to land 13 sturgeon with 5 of them being in the keeper slot of 43" to 54", to bad keeper season closed about 5 days ago..........Still all in all a fun day on the waster catching sturgeon.

April 6th Youth Turkey Hunt

WOW, what a hunt the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew had!! It was a great opening day for Miles and I. We managed to harvest a nice mature Tom and this would be the first long beard Miles has harvested. This was a hunt to remember and one that will never be forgotten. We started the day working and area that had some nice birds around. We could not find one that wanted to play that morning so we headed out to see if we could get one to play. We managed to get on a group of hens that were talking back and pretty excited. We set up with the mind set of getting the hens to come check things out hoping there was a Tom tagging along. After about 30 minutes of working the birds we managed to get 5 hens to come through a small clearing. Not knowing what was ext to come [...]

March 31 2019 walleye

Miles and I had a cancellation, so we decided to hit the water anyway in search of some walleye for our freezer. We managed to get 12 nice fish and have a great time with awesome weather. The walleye were hit in the morning and slowed down in the afternoon. We managed to miss and or lose more fish than we landed. Just one of them days for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew on the big Columbia river. It is time to get in on some spring walleye trips and let the spring cleaning of the garage wait!! Book a trip with the guide you like and get on the water. Bent Rods and Tight Lines all!!!

March 30 Walleye

The walleye have slowed down just a little as they are beginning to get ready to spawn. With the water temps getting into the low 40's the fish have been a little hard to get to play. The fishers Catch Outfitters team is still out putting a few to the sled. The fish are in quality shape but we just are not getting the big numbers.  We are averaging 10-15 fish per trip right now. If you are looking to get in on some Walleye action shoot us a call, or any other Columbia River guide you might know. The action will pick up in the coming weeks. Bent rods and tight lines!!

Dinner Under the Moon! 3.19.19

Fishers Catch Outfitters got out for a little pizza dinner, and decided it would be better to fish with dinner then watch TV. With the full moon just around the corner the FCO team was wanting to get some night fishing in. We managed to put a few nice walleye to the boat, but no big girls. Maybe tonight!!! Bent Rods and Tight Lines all.

March 16th, 2019 Boise

It was a beautiful day on the Big Columbia River fishing for walleye. The Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab boat had a successful day putting their clients on some great eating walleye. The crew managed to land 20 walleye and a MONSTER 30lb cat fish!! Derek managed to land the big kitty on a Fox River walleye rod spooled up with 15 pound power prow and 8 pound leader. It was a great fighting fish for the light gear and Derek did a great job getting it to the boat, lots of fun. We had plenty of opportunities to put additional walleye in the boat, but could not catch them all. It was a fun day with Scott and his crew in the Gap. Fish on Bent Rod's and Tight Lines!!

March 9th, 2019 Walleye McNary

It was a fun day on the Columbia river looking for Walleye with my buddies. We managed to find some nice walleye that wanted to play. We also got a bonus fish a sweet steelhead that took down one of our deep diving walleye bandits. All in all a great day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew on the Columbia River. We sure are blessed!

March Walleye 3/3/2019

With the weather staying cold and the water staying just as cold the fishing has produced some good fish still for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. We decided to head down river today to see if the fish wanted to play. We started a bit later than usual and only fished a couple hours before the wind decided to blow us off the water. We did manage to land six great eater fish and locate some additional walleye for the upcoming weeks. All in all a good day on the water with a couple buddies.

North Dakota Boys / Feb 20th-22nd

What a fun time for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew hanging out with Scott and Bill from North Dakota. These guys came to the Tri-Cities to experience the great fishing on the Columbia River. With walleye in mind and what they came for we fished out hearts out. Our mornings started at 8 am and we finished at Midnight as were were in search of a trophy Walleye in the evenings. We never managed to get the big girl we were looking for, but did manage some great fishing and landed lots of fish. It was a week that will be remembered for all involved!!
