The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew got out on the water today with Vince in the #williebonka boat! What a fun time getting to spend the day on the water catching walleye and having a cold beer! We spent most of the day cranking up these awesome eaters. We managed to put some nice eaters in the boat. We managed to reel in a big fatty carp with the Fox River cranking rod, it was a fun battle. The Columbia River is heating up and clearing us so the walleye fishing is going to continue to be good. It is time to get fishing!!! Bent Rods and Tight Lines. With a couple tough days behind us the Fishers Catch Outfitters group set out today to get a keeper sturgeon in the upper Columbia. We sat on the hook in several spots putting in 6 hours of fishing, with no takers we decided to load the FCO/LesSchwab boat up and head to Plymouth for some walleye. With just a few hours left to fish for the Montana crew we found some nice walleye that wanted to play!  

Fishers Catch Outfitters hit the Columbia River in search of some monster white sturgeon. With a group of guys looking for some fist ever sturgeon, the crew found 9 total fish and a great time. We did not fond the monster we were looking for, but none the less had a great time on the water and managed to get everyone on a sturgeon.  

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew hit the Columbia river Saturday in search of some walleye. The wind and rain decided to join us in our day of fishing, this kept us from fishing some additional areas we were wanting to fish. We ended up fishing a couple new areas and they managed to produce some great walleye and mad a great trip for the group that joined us Saturday!! The day ended with 18 nice eaters for the group to take home and a couple nice hens over 24" that were released to help keep this great fisheries going!

The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew didn't let the rain stop them from spending the day on the Columbia River chasing Columbia River White Sturgeon! With Dave and Bob in town to do a little catch and release sturgeon fishing, that is just what we did. We managed to land 13 sturgeon with 5 of them being in the keeper slot of 43" to 54", to bad keeper season closed about 5 days ago..........Still all in all a fun day on the waster catching sturgeon.

WOW, what a hunt the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew had!! It was a great opening day for Miles and I. We managed to harvest a nice mature Tom and this would be the first long beard Miles has harvested. This was a hunt to remember and one that will never be forgotten. We started the day working and area that had some nice birds around. We could not find one that wanted to play that morning so we headed out to see if we could get one to play. We managed to get on a group of hens that were talking back and pretty excited. We set up with the mind set of getting the hens to come check things out hoping there was a Tom tagging along. After about 30 minutes of working the birds we managed to get 5 hens to come through a small clearing. Not knowing what was ext to come [...]

Miles and I had a cancellation, so we decided to hit the water anyway in search of some walleye for our freezer. We managed to get 12 nice fish and have a great time with awesome weather. The walleye were hit in the morning and slowed down in the afternoon. We managed to miss and or lose more fish than we landed. Just one of them days for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew on the big Columbia river. It is time to get in on some spring walleye trips and let the spring cleaning of the garage wait!! The walleye have slowed down just a little as they are beginning to get ready to spawn. With the water temps getting into the low 40's the fish have been a little hard to get to play. The fishers Catch Outfitters team is still out putting a few to the sled. The fish are in quality shape but we just are not getting the big numbers.  We are averaging 10-15 fish per trip right now. Fishers Catch Outfitters got out for a little pizza dinner, and decided it would be better to fish with dinner then watch TV. With the full moon just around the corner the FCO team was wanting to get some night fishing in. We managed to put a few nice walleye to the boat, but no big girls. Maybe tonight!!!
