July 23rd Monte and Josh on Big Sturgeon
WOW! July 23rd proved to be an awesome day of River Monster Fishing on the Big Columbia River. Got to spend the day with one of our Military Air Force Men Josh and good friend Monte. They both proved they could handle the big ones with 11 fish to the Fishers Catch Outfitters Sled. Had the opportunity to get another first ever Sturgeon checked of the bucket list for Josh. We love doing what we do and get to do what we do because of the great Service men and woman of this great country!! For the love of the Game!!
July 21st Happy Anniversary Dave and Ranae!!
What an AWESOME day with the Dave and Ranae Happy 11 year Anniversary!! We started the day of with a big Sturgeon and ended the Day with a big Sturgeon!! Landed 16 Columbia River Sturgeon to the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab sled! Got to Swim with the Big ones, we do it all for the Love of the Game!
July 18th Evening Sturgeon
With the retention season getting ready to close on July 31st. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew went out to put Wade on a keeper. We ended up catching 2 fish one a little to small and one 3" to big measuring in at 57". All in all a fun evening of fishing on the Columbia River in Kennewick. Its all "for the love of the game"
July 15th / Drag Ripping Saturday
The title says it all for this epic day!! Fishers Catch Outfitters put the crew at CED Consolidated Electric Distribution on some Drag Ripping Sturgeon! With a total of 17 fish landed and to the Les Schwab sled with 4 of them being 8' plus! It was a good day on the Columbia River, got to get another three anglers on their first Sturgeon ever. They even went swimming with the fish, note: don't forget to take your phone out of your pocket! July 14 / Friday Night Fights
Fishers Catch Outfitters had another awesome day putting clients on some big Sturgeon. We had a Friday Night Fight, evening run on the Columbia River witch produced some great fishing. With 6 rounds of fights, nice fish boated and one big one getting away after 20 minutes of fighting, Landed 3 oversize 1 in the slot and 2 shakers. Checked off another 2 anglers with their first Sturgeon ever!! This is why the we do it here at FCO so we can see the smiles and high fives fly!! Great job guys! Until next time Tight Lines!
July 9th
What an epic day Sturgeon fishing with Monty Webb our weather man from Wake Up North West! The Fishers Catch Outfitters and NBR Right Now had a throw down with some big Sturgeon. The bite was on in the afternoon with 6 fish in total caught one 10'6" monster and another one at 8'4' with 44" of girth. We had one more big one on but lost it about 20 minutes into the fight. The big 10'6" fish took just over and hour to land and the 8'4" fish lasted 40 minutes. What a day of fishing!! Book Now if you want to get into some of this great action!!
July 2nd Walleye & Shad
Had my Uncles in from Texas so decided to get them on the water!!! Went for Walleye and Shad today. With the morning producing some opportunity to put some more Sturgeon bait in the boat, we decided to get the Shad rods out! Spent a couple hours in the morning dragging Dick Nights putting Shad in the boat. With a good number of shad (sorry no pictures) we decided to turn our focus to Walleye. Started with Jigs landed a few fish with jigs and decided to pull harnesses, go call the bite was on. With Uncle Jesse hooking onto a nice 5-6 lb Walleye for his biggest Walleye caught, again no pictures. Not because I didn't have my phone.......but the captain forgot to bring the next, LOL. July 1st Sockeye Trip
We decided since we picked up a couple nice Sockeye on Friday on the Columbia River we would give Saturday a shot. With Miles sleeping in and leaving me by myself to fish a limit of fish came early! Fun day with my buddy MG! Had a good time and go a nice surprise with a fly over!
June 30th First Sockeye Trip
With he water levels on the Columbia River changing through-out the morning Miles and I managed to get a couple nice Sockeye fish to the boat. We managed to find these fish close to home. Great fish and a fun time. Not the smoking day we were looking for but a ton of fun no matter what.
