Well today was a day for the crew on the FCO Edge Tire Factory boat. The crew had a day of fun reeling in Columbia River Walleyes. With the launches unfreezing we were final able to launch out of Irrigon Oregon. The winter jig bite has not been to nice to us so we decided to hit he water and troll crank baits. It is what we love to do at night and in the spring so why not now. Well it worked and worked well, got plenty of eater for the guys and also released some personal best. Well with January 2024 coming to a close it was a day on the water with long time client Kurt chasing down some walleye for the freezer. Kurt put it to them this morning with the jigs. I couldn't seem to get one in the boat, until just before we decided to change over and do some trolling. We trolled crank baits into the evening looking for a "dirt30" we did not find the one we were looking for but we managed to get a couple nice fish that we released. It was a day on the river search for some Columbia River walleye for the FCO boat. I set out of Clover Island in Kennewick Washington in search of some good walleye catching for tomorrows clients. It was a morning of jigging for me and we targeted 60-70 feet of water. It was a slower bite but it was consistent. After putting a few in the boat I set out to troll some crank baits to see if I could find some bigger catch and release fish. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. It was a night on the water for FCO Pro Guide Steve. The water flows are lined up for Steve to put the clients on some nice quality walleyes. Launching out of Umatilla Oregon and heading down river to the walleye grounds. Steve spent the night trolling crank baits and it was the winning ticket. Set out of Umatilla Oregon today in search of the walleyes. It has been a tougher bite during the day and we set out to try and get some fish to the boat. It was a day of pulling crank baits and grinding up the walleye we could find. We finished the day strong with 7 fish for the crew to harvest and another few fish released to go do their thing. Two new personal best records set with a 26" and 28" walleye. All in all today was a success forth crew and the boat. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. WOW, what a great night on the Columbia River chasing night walleyes. This never gets old here at Fishers Catch Outfitters. This is one of our favorite seasons and we look forward to it each and ever year. Got to spend the evening with good friend Jake chasing down some Columbia River Giants. We are always in for the search of the next state record walleye. This is the time of year we spend focused on the big girls. Tonight was not the night we got the record but is is the night we put another teener to the boat.
