It was a awesome day on the water for Jeff and the family chasing walleye on the Columbia River. With the spawn in full swing it is some work finding some fish that want to play. It was the guides day out on the Columbia River today Pro Guide Steve and I spent the day on the water searching for walleye. We spent the day on sections of the river we usually fish this time of year to see if the fish have moved in yet. It was a day of not many fish but some nice fish for sure. We released all fish landed today and get ready for running clients again tomorrow. The wind has kept us off the river for a few days so back to work we go. Today we had the great pleasure of fishing with returning client Bill and his son. Bill gets on the FCO boats regularly and it is always a great time. The bite was a little tougher today and we worked hard for the fish we got. We managed to get a nice bag of eaters for the guys to take home for a fish fry or two The fish of the day was a 25' beauty that we released to help in the retention of this great fishery. It was a day of scouting for Pro Guide Tony on the mighty Columbia River. With no clients on the books for a day of fishing I headed out to find some fish and a decent bite for tomorrows clients. It was a day of trolling and jigging. I managed to find some quality fish, now lets just hope they stay where I found them and we have a great day of catching tomorrow. It was a day on the bumpy Columbia River for Pro Guide Pete chasing down some walleye. The bite has fallen off a bit with he high water and the fish in the spawn but Pete made the best of it with his crew and managed to get some quality eater walleye on the boat. It was a day of catch and release sturgeon fishing for Miles and I today. We are on the search for some sturgeon bites as we have a group coming in tomorrow to do some sturgeon fishing. It has been a little while since we have sturgeon fished so it is scouting time. It was a great day on the water with buddy mike and his daughter Zoey. It was another day of Columbia River Walleye fishing for the guys on the Fishers Catch Outfitters boat. With the water being high and the walleye in the spawn the bit has slowed and you have to work for them a little harder but we had the crew to do it with today.
