It was our annual trip to the lower Columbia for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew to do some Christmas time crabbing. We headed out of Hammond Oregon three days and managed to get limits each day with pots soaking and rings. It is day three with the group from Salt Lake City. With day time walleye fishing and Columbia River sturgeon fishing in the books and checked off the list. It was time to do some night ops. We launched out of Kennewick Washington at 6pm to go search out some night walleye. The bite stared off a little slow but we ended up putting a nice night of catching together for the crew. It was another great day on the water for the Salt Lake City crew. It was day two and they wanted to go catch a Columbia River Sturgeon. It was a special day for the crew of Fishers Catch Outfitters with friends making the trip from Salt Lake City to spend a few days on the Columbia River fishing. We have a day walleye trip planed for day one to go out and get some eaters so we can go back to the house and have a great walleye dinner. Todays adventure took us to Irrigon Oregon with a launch time of 7:30am. We launched out and headed down river to an area we did some jigging. It was a successful few hour of jigging before we headed further down river to another area. Started with jigs them moved over to pulling worm harnesses. It was our first night for this fall season to run a night trip. Tonight we launched out of Kennewick's Clover Island and headed down river a few miles to the walleye grounds we like to target for these trophy walleye. It was a night to remember with several fish hitting the boat with a 28' 11 pound fish for the big one, until we landed the 32' 13.32 momma another "Dirty 30" for another FCO guest!
