Today was the last trip of out fall salmon season on the Columbia River. We took the trip down to Drano Lake and got the crew on some Coho and Chinooks to finish off the season. Today we spent thew day on the scout train for some upcoming walleye trips. It was Miles and I out searching for some walleye and we found some. Well, well you know what we love to do more than just fishing, its walleye time. One of our favorite time of year and favorite fish to chase. It was a day of fun for us on the Hanford Reach today chasing salmon. We had no clients scheduled today but why stay home and not fish when there are fish to catch.  Miles, Chris and myself hit the water to catch one of these awesome fish ourselves. Today is the last day for a large section of the Hanford Reach to be fished. Today above the powerlines close so we headed up to White Bluffs to get after some of the fall Hanford Reach Chinook. Today was an awesome day on the water. It started slow for us today as the powerlines did not produce but we made a quick change and headed up to white bluffs. It was a slow roll there as well but we managed to find the fish and put it to them once we did. All our fish were caught trolling super baits down hill in 20-30 feet of water. It was a cool morning start today the 14th of October out of Vernita Bridge chasing Hanford Reach fall salmon. With the season on the Reach coming to a close we are looking for another limit of fish today for ou9r great clients. Today was another day of trolling to put the fish in the boat.
