Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

Wyoming in the house for a little walleye fun 02/22/2025

Scotty and the crew made the trip all the way from Wyoming to experience some top-tier Columbia River walleye fishing. With three days on the water ahead of us, we were excited to see what each day would bring. Day one did not disappoint! The weather cooperated, the fish were active, and the crew put plenty of walleye in the boat. One of the biggest highlights of the day was Scotty’s son landing his personal best—a true FCO Dirty 30! Watching the excitement on his face as he reeled in the fish made the trip even more special. It’s always great to see anglers, young and old, creating lifelong memories out here. With two more days of fishing ahead, we’re looking forward to what’s next. The Columbia River is known for producing some incredible walleye, and if today was any indication, the action is just getting started! If you’re looking to get out on the [...]

Boise Broncos beat them walleye down 02/21/2025

The guys made the journey from Boise, Idaho, with one goal in mind—getting after some of the incredible walleye that the Columbia River is known for. The excitement was high, especially for a couple of them who had never caught a walleye before. There’s something special about introducing someone to this amazing fishery, and this night did not disappoint. Among the group was a father-son duo, both brand new to walleye fishing, and they could not have had a more memorable introduction to the sport. Not only did they experience the thrill of hooking into their first walleye, but they each landed a dirty 30—a true trophy and the ultimate way to be welcomed into the walleye world. Seeing their reactions, the pure excitement and disbelief, was what fishing is all about. The action throughout the night was nothing short of incredible. From the first cast to the last, the fish were biting, keeping rods [...]

Day Three for Joe and Lynn from Wyoming 02/20/2025

Day three on the water unfolded a bit differently. This morning, Chuck decided to head back to Idaho, leaving Joe and Lynn to navigate the day’s adventure on their own. Although his absence was noticeable, it also meant that our dynamic shifted, prompting us to explore new areas rather than linger in the spot that had worked so well on our very first day. However, instead of spinning our wheels in the same familiar area, we quickly set our sights on covering more water. The transition wasn’t immediate—it took a good while of scouting and maneuvering before we finally landed on a promising pod of fish. Once we hit this productive zone, we really began to make the best of what initially looked like it might be a slow night. With focused determination and a bit of perseverance, we managed to haul in a total of 14 fish by night’s end. One of these catches [...]

Day Tow for the boys from Wyoming 02/19/2025

Day two on the water with Lynn and Joe didn’t quite match the magic of day one. But when day one was that amazing, what choice did we have? This time, we’re on the hunt for another Dirty 30 for Joe—since Chuck and Lynn have already hit theirs. The night was a bit slower, with water flows hitting the rock bottom, which moved the fish and closed down our usual spot. We did manage to land a few quality fish, though we had to work a little harder for them that night.

Lynn from Wyoming is in the dirty30 club 02/18/2025

Day one with Joe, Lynn, and Chuck was an unforgettable experience, filled with quality fish and some new personal best records! Lynn and Joe have been fishing with me for the past four years, and over that time, we've always been chasing the elusive "dirty 30" – that 30-inch walleye that continues to escape us. Every time, something has always come up to keep us from landing that big fish. But not this time! Tonight, history was not repeated. We had a fantastic night with plenty of fish coming to the boat, and the excitement was palpable. The real highlight of the evening, however, came when Lynn hooked into a true monster. After an intense battle, he landed his new personal best walleye – a stunning 32 inches long and weighing in at an impressive 14.23 lbs. What a fish, and what an unforgettable way to kick off the trip! The excitement, camaraderie, and laughter [...]

Greg and the guys doing a little night walleye 02/12/2025

It was an amazing night of fishing for Greg and his crew from Spokane! Greg has fished with us before, but this was his first night trip with us. Even though the bite was slow, we made the most of it and managed to land 15 fish. While we didn’t hook any big ones tonight, we had a blast on the water, fishing and laughing together. If you haven’t already, it’s time to join us for some fantastic fishing with Fishers Catch Outfitters!

Matts Night to join the DIRTY 30 club 02/11/2025

What an unforgettable night of walleye fishing for Matt, Brian, and Preston on their last night here! We set out with one mission in mind: to get Matt into the "Dirty30" club, a milestone already achieved by Brian and Preston. The night started off strong, and it didn’t take long before we hit our goal. The first fish of the evening was an incredible 31", 13.7 lb walleye, a real beauty! Matt’s face lit up as we officially checked off the Dirty30 goal for him. But the excitement didn’t end there. We continued fishing through the night, catching several more fish along the way. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Brian landed a giant 32", 14.7 lb walleye. It was a moment of pure joy and excitement for him. Earlier, he had caught a 14.4 lb fish that we thought would be his personal best, but sure enough, the fishing gods were [...]

Prestons amazing night of walleye fishing 02/10/2025

Day two with Matt, Brian, and Preston went really well for Preston tonight. He traveled all the way from Colorado to try to beat his personal best of a 27" walleye. Although we may have done that yesterday with a 28" walleye, Preston was determined to land a Columbia River Dirty30. The night started strong with the first fish being a 30.5" walleye, weighing in at 11.6 lbs—Preston officially made it into the Dirty30 Club! The action didn't stop there as we fished through the night and landed plenty of fish. But the highlight of the evening came when Preston broke his personal best again, landing a stunning 31" walleye. Not only did he hit the Dirty30 mark, but he hit it twice! Now, we just need to get Matt into the Dirty30 Club. Maybe tomorrow night, on night three, will be his time. Give us a call if you are looking to get in [...]

Tanker alert Columbia RIver Gioant to the boat 02/09/2025

Day one with the Denver and Wyoming crew—Matt, Brian, and Preston—was an absolute blast! This crew fishes with me every year, and we always get after it. They're here for the chance to hook a Columbia River giant, and while last season it took all three days to make that happen, we're hoping to land one a bit sooner this time around. Night one was a huge success. We landed a lot of fish, and even better, we managed to get one of the giants they were after into the boat. Brian had the opportunity of a lifetime when the rod went down, and he reeled in his new personal best—an absolute trophy! This beast came in at 33 inches and 14.4 pounds. A fish like that will be hard to beat! If you're ready to get out on the water and chase these giants for yourself, we've got you covered here at Fishers Catch [...]
