Boat Loads of Walleye and Big Smiles 10/02/2025
Pro Guide Tony has been locked in on the walleye bite all fall, and today was no different. Returning client Feremin and his family joined us for a full day on the Columbia, and the action didn’t disappoint—a boat load of walleye and plenty of smiles to go with it. We love seeing familiar faces back on the water and making more memories together. No matter what species you’re after—walleye, sturgeon, or salmon—Fishers Catch Outfitters has you covered.
Columbia River Kings Are Calling 10/01/2025
Pro Guide Pete put in the work today—up early, out of the Tri-Cities, and on the road to the Vernita area of the Hanford Reach to get clients into some fall upriver Chinook. The effort paid off with fish in the boat and big smiles all around. The fall run is one of the best times to be on the Columbia, and spots for 2026 are already filling up. Now’s the time to get on the books and lock in your day!
Hanford Reach Salmon Deliver Again 09/30/2025
It was another great day back on the Hanford Reach, fishing out of Vernita at the upper end of the stretch. The crew went home with limits, but more importantly, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun battling these hard-fighting salmon. The fall run continues to deliver, and the memories made on the water are just as good as the fish in the cooler.
From Tri-Cities to Umatilla: Big Day on the Columbia 09/29/2025
Today we left the Tri-Cities and headed down to Umatilla, Oregon, for a walleye and sturgeon combo trip with our clients. The morning started with steady walleye action, putting plenty of fish in the boat before we shifted gears to the sturgeon grounds. From there, the rods bent and the battles began—everyone got in on the action and experienced the power of these Columbia River giants. It was a fun-filled day with plenty of fishing, plenty of smiles, and memories made on the water.
Hanford Reach Keeps Producing 09/28/2025
It’s been back-to-back days on the Hanford Reach chasing salmon, and back-to-back success with fish in the boat. Tomorrow we’ll switch gears and get after walleye and sturgeon, but that’s what makes this fishery so special—there’s always something exciting to target. No matter your fishing experience or your species of choice, we’ve got you covered here at Fishers Catch Outfitters.
Back to the Reach, Back on the Salmon 09/27/2025
It was a solid day on the Columbia for the Cave crew from the west side, mixing it up with both walleye and sturgeon. A couple of weeks ago their walleye trip ran slow, so Pro Guide Tony brought them back out for a make-up trip—and what a redemption day it turned out to be! The action was steady, the rods stayed busy, and the laughs kept rolling. Plenty of fish and plenty of memories made—clients turned into friends for life.

Closing It Out in Style 09/25/2025
What a finish! Three incredible days of fishing at Drano Lake with Mike, Lori, and their family. From start to finish, the bite was on, the laughs were nonstop, and the coolers are going home full. We’re so grateful for this crew and their annual tradition with us—it’s always one of the highlights of the fall season. Until next year, thanks for making it another trip to remember!
Rolling Strong on Day Two 09/24/2025
Day two on Drano Lake with Mike, Lori, and family, and the action just keeps rolling. Yesterday’s success carried right into today, with steady bites and plenty of fish making it to the net. The highlight was was Mike with the big fish. After limiting the family we called Dan to have him buzz down to get some fish for himself. With one more day left, we’re excited to finish strong and make more memories on the Columbia.
