Today was a special one—I got to spend the day on the water with my big brother and a couple of guests he brought along for a mixed trip chasing both sturgeon and walleye. The bite was on, and the crew made the most of it. They took home a pile of great-eating walleye and, best of all, landed their first-ever sturgeon. Nothing beats a day of fishing, family, and first-time memories. One for the books!

It was an absolute smash fest today for Rob, Chip, and the boys. The summer bite was wide open, and the walleye were stacked and snapping. We trolled worm harnesses and loaded the boat in a quick three-hour morning trip—plenty of quality fish for the crew to take home. After dropping them off, Miles and I headed back out to see what the jigs could do—and they delivered. Another solid hour of catching capped off an already great day on the water. Fast fishing, full coolers, and summer vibes—that’s how we do it at FCO.

FCO Pro Guide Steve put together another great day on the water—this time for a father and son duo ready to do some catching. With warming water temps slowing the bite a bit, Steve switched gears and focused on trolling worm harnesses. The strategy paid off, and the guys put together a solid haul. A great day of fishing, learning, and making memories on the Columbia. That’s what it’s all about.

With no clients on the schedule today, we took the opportunity to do a little scouting—and of course, some fishing of our own. Angel, Ruth, and I hit the Snake River in search of walleye and managed to find a few. We also made a quick run out to the Wallula grounds and picked up a few more there. No pressure, no rush—just a great day of exploring water, catching fish, and spending time on the boat with my bride. Doesn’t get much better than that.

It was another night on the water for Fishers Catch Outfitters’ Pro Guide Steve—and the walleye didn’t disappoint. Back on the night bite, we put the Walleye Bandits to work, and the rods were bending all evening. The fish were there, we were there, and it was lights-out fishing from start to finish. We took a break from the walleye grind today and headed up the Columbia for some sockeye salmon—and it paid off. Captain Wade had the crew dialed in early, and the fish were snapping. The action was steady, the vibes were high, and limits came quick. Nothing better than a successful morning chasing chrome on the upper river. Big thanks to the crew for making it a fun one!

It’s been a little while since we’ve had the pleasure of fishing together, but we picked up right where we left off—catching fish! We switched things up and hit the water for some evening/night walleye trolling—and man, was it worth it. It’s been a bit since we’ve fished this bite, and we forgot how fun this fishery really is. The walleye were fired up and Jeremy, our neighbor, went home with a solid haul for the family. What made it even better? A night of guides just having fun.
