Columbia River Sturgeon Fishing 01/02/2024
The weather has been great and the fishing even better. This years retention season kicked off with a bang and today was just the same with 3 keeper coming aboard the Fishers Catch Outfitters boat. Montana Bob gets it done again with his 9th year taking home a keeper sturgeon in a row. It was a great day with lots of action shorts, keepers and oversized decided to play today. Columbia River Sturgeon Fishing 01/01/2024
With the turn of the new year among us, that only means one thing here at Fishers Catch Outfitters retention sturgeon season. We are looking forward to a good start to the season with the weather being so nice and the water temps staying in the low 40's. The fish are active and the bite is good. Columbia River Winter Walleye 12/30/2023
Well, Well, Well it is the end of 2023 for us here at Fishers Catch Outfitters. It has been an amazing season for us here at FCO and we owe all our thanks to our amazing customers. Columbia River Winter walleye fishing 12/29/2023
Day two for Kurt and the gang. Today was much of the same as yesterday and much of the same results. It was a cold day on the water but the crew stuck with it and managed to get a nice mess of fish. Pro Guide Steve had a group out as well today and they also had a great day of catching! Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Columbia River Winter Walleye 12/28/2023
It was another amazing day on the Columbia River with returning clients Kurt Russell ands guests. Today we launched out of Boardman Oregon and headed up river to the walleye grounds. The bite started a little slow but we managed to put a good bag of fish together for the team. Today we harvested out walleye pulling worm harnesses and jigging. We even got the pleasure of releasing a few nice fish back to the river to go do their thing. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Columbia River Winter Walleye Fishing 12/26/2023
Today was a day for the books. Both Fishers Catch Outfitters boats hit the water in search of some Columbia River Walleye and we had an amazing day on the water. With Pro Guide Steve getting his clients of fish jigging. I decided to hit the fish with bottom bouncers and see what we could make happen. It was a good bite today on both jigs and bottom bouncers. I would say that bottom bouncers outperformed the jigs as the water flows are down and we were able to cover more water faster trolling over jigging. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Columbia River Winter Walleye Fishing 12/24/2023
It was a day of walleye pre scouting for FCO Pro Guide Steve. Steve launched out of Boardman Oregon in search of some Columbia River Walleye for his up coming clients. He landed on a nice pocket of fish where he spent some time jigging them up. We are ready for tomorrow clients! Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Winter Walleye on the Columbia River 12/23/2023
Buddy Kyle mad the trip over to do a little walleye fishing on the Columbia River with Chuck and I. Today was a fun day with lots of action for the guys. We started the day out of Irrigon Oregon and found some fish early on bottom bouncers. Once that bite slowed down we moved over to jigging and found some additional walleye. Columbia River Winter Walleye fishing 12/22/2023
It was another fun day on the water with great people chasing walleye. We took off out of Boardman Oregon at 7:30 and headed up river to an area that we have been catching a good number of walleye. Today was no different with plenty of walleye caught for the crew. Todays tactics were trolling worm harnesses down river at 1.3 mph. Here are some picture's from todays adventure.
