Today the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew took off out of Boardman Oregon in search of some Columbia River Walleye. It was a day of trolling for the Les Schwab boat and we managed to land on some nice fish for the crew that joined us. It was a great day of fishing even though the fog was thick as glue. What and amazing day on the Columbia River today with great clients. Today the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out of Boardman Oregon and headed up river to the walleye grounds. We started the day with worm harnesses and managed to get all the fish we were looking for. It was a great bite today working a 57' of water pulling harnesses and worms down river at 1.3. It was a day of scouting for Miles and I on the Columbia River. We set out of Irrigon Oregon with the new jig rods in hand. We are on the search for some walleye for tomorrow clients. Today was a special day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. It was a day of testing Rods with the team from Edge Rods. We have been waiting the day we try out the new Edge walleye jigging rod! Another great day for Fishers Catch Outfitters Pro Guide Steve. He put the clients on another load of walleye for the fryer. It was our annual trip to the lower Columbia for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew to do some Christmas time crabbing. We headed out of Hammond Oregon three days and managed to get limits each day with pots soaking and rings. It is day three with the group from Salt Lake City. With day time walleye fishing and Columbia River sturgeon fishing in the books and checked off the list. It was time to do some night ops. We launched out of Kennewick Washington at 6pm to go search out some night walleye. The bite stared off a little slow but we ended up putting a nice night of catching together for the crew. It was another great day on the water for the Salt Lake City crew. It was day two and they wanted to go catch a Columbia River Sturgeon.
