Back on the walleye ground, after a couple days off chasing sturgeon for clients and the FTB event we hit the water today in search of the walleye we left a few days ago. With the walleye jig bite being slow for us here at FCO right now we set up to troll spinners and worms in search of them walleyes. we were not disappointed today with plenty of quality walleyes hitting the deck and even releasing a few nicer fish. Back to the Columbia River in search of the mighty Columbia River Sturgeon. It was a fun day on the water with the crew from Spokane. They went from never catching a sturgeon to catching many today. Today we took the day off from running clients and cam together with 35 other captains to take out 120 of our countries Veterans. It is the 8th annual FISHN THE BRAVE event. We started this eight years ago with just four veterans and it has continued to grow every year. It is our small way to give back to the folks that gave so much. We are so grateful and thankful for all of their service and sacrifice. A great video will be out soon for everyone to enjoy!

Today was a little tougher day than others . We first started out launching out of Irrigon Oregon in search of some walleye. The fog was thick and we couldn't  see anything so we didn't want to travel down river to far. We decided to load up and head up to Port Kelly where we have been jigging up a few. Jig bite was slower than expected so we went on the search. With the need to locate fish we hit the water with worm harnesses and well we found a few. Here are some picture's from todays adventure. Todays adventure was another catch and release sturgeon trip for returning clients PIE Industrial. These guys are some of the crazy crews each year. It was a day back on the Columbia River Chasing walleye. We are on some fish close to home fishing the Kennewick Washington area. Today we had the pleasure of fishing Faiths family the owner of Tri-City tackle. It was a great day on the water with returning clients Chip and Rob. They wanted to spend the day with us on the river doing as catch and release sturgeon trip. They sure do love to catch these fish. Today got to spend the day scouting with a buddy for my birthday. It was time to go try and find some fish jigging. One of my favorite  ways to catch winter walleye is to jig them up. Well Chris and I landed on them today and put some much needed walleye in my freezer. What a great birthday on the water and fun!. We are booking now for 2024 so be sure to get your spots.
