Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report

Sportsman’s Show Season Rolls On 01/23-25/2026

Sportsman’s Show Season Rolls On Well, it’s time for our second Sportsman’s Show of the season. We’re doing things a little differently heading into 2026, and it all kicked off with the Denver Sportsman’s Show. Today, we were back at it again—this time closer to home at the Tri-Cities Sportsman’s Show. It was a great time connecting with past clients, meeting new ones, and building new relationships along the way. While I may feel a little like a fish out of water not being on the boat, it’s always rewarding to step back, share stories, talk fishing, and grow the FCO family. Another solid show in the books and plenty to look forward to as the season keeps rolling.

Heated Boats, Heated Bite 01/22/2026

FCO Pro Guide Steve was out whacking and stacking walleye today, proving once again that cold weather doesn’t slow the bite down. While the temperatures may be low, our boats are fully heated to keep everyone comfortable, and the fishing is absolutely on fire right now. The crew stayed busy all day, rods bending and fish hitting the deck one after another. This is prime winter walleye fishing, and it doesn’t get much better than this. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to get out, this is it. Let’s get you on the water and into the fish.

Cold Morning, Hot Columbia Bite 01/21/2026

Cold Ride, Warm Bite We jumped in the boat and hit the Columbia today, making the slick drive from the Tri-Cities to Irrigon through freezing fog. Taking it slow paid off, and we made it safely to the launch. It was a pleasure fishing with Ed and the crew again. Even with the cold conditions, we stayed warm thanks to a solid bite and the heater cranked up high. Plenty of action, good laughs, and another fun day on the water made it all worth it.

Cold Hands, Full Bags 01/20/2026

Cold Day, Hot Bite It was another cold day on the Columbia for Team FCO and the crew that joined us, but the weather didn’t slow the fishing down one bit. Even with the chill in the air, the walleye were active and ready to play. Rods stayed busy throughout the day, the bite stayed consistent, and the crew put together a solid bag of fish to take home. Smiles stayed wide, hands stayed cold, and the results made it all worth it. Another strong day on the water proving that winter walleye fishing is as good as it gets.

Night Bite Is Building The Night Of January 19th 2026

It was a night of night ops for Pro Guide Steve this evening. While other crews were out chasing daytime eaters, Steve was gearing up to put his clients on some true night monsters. Although we didn’t connect with a Dirty 30 this trip, the crew still put a solid number of fish in the boat—including some very nice quality walleye. Plenty of action, good learning, and another productive night on the water. The big ones are close, and night season is just getting rolling.

When the Whole Fleet Connects 01/19/2026

It was one of those days when all the FCO boats hit the water in search of Columbia River walleye—and it definitely wasn’t a good day to be a walleye with this crew out there. The fishing was strong across the board, with every boat finding success. Some crews stayed on the jig bite while others worked the troll, and both approaches paid off. Solid action, great teamwork, and plenty of fish made it a great day on the water for everyone involved. Another all-around win for the FCO fleet.

Worm Harnesses Working Overtime 01/18/2026

Daytime Trolling Done Right FCO Pro Guide Blake hit the water during the daylight hours with longtime client Kurt and the crew, and what a day it turned into. The guys stayed busy reeling in plenty of walleye, with nonstop action on the troll rods and smiles all around the boat. Today was all about trolling worm harnesses, and the program was extremely productive. Fish kept coming, the bite stayed steady, and it was one of those days that reminds you just how good daytime walleye fishing can be. Another solid outing on the Columbia.

One More Night, One More Chance For Jesse And Cory 01/17/2026

Well, we were back at it again for another night on the water with Jesse and Cory. We were hoping tonight might bring the fish of a lifetime, and while we came up just a little short of that goal, the night still delivered. We found some solid fish and put 13 walleye in the boat, with the biggest stretching out to 27 inches. Steady action, good laughs, and another productive night made it a win all around. It was another great night of walleye fishing here at Fisher’s Catch Outfitters—and trophy season is far from over.

Night Ops Start With a Dirty 30 01/16/2026

Night Ops Kick Off With a Dirty 30 It’s time for night ops for Pro Guide Tony, kicking off a couple-month stretch of after-dark fishing that we look forward to every year. Tonight’s trip had longtime clients Jesse and Cory—the brothers from Lewiston, Idaho—back in the boat, along with Lex joining in on the action. And wouldn’t you know it… Lex ended up boating the exact fish Jesse was hoping for—a 31.5-inch giant walleye weighing 12.6 pounds. Even though Jesse didn’t land the fish himself, the excitement was high all around as another Dirty 30 hit the deck. That’s how night fishing goes sometimes, and everyone was all smiles. With more nights ahead, we’ll see what tomorrow brings for Jesse and Cory. Trophy season is just getting started.
