From Tri-Cities to Umatilla: Walleye Ready 09/18/2025
Back to the walleye grounds for a little pre-fishing before client trips pick up again. We made the short drive from the Tri-Cities to Umatilla, Oregon, and spent the morning jigging up some quality walleye. Every fish caught today was released, but it was the perfect warm-up for what’s ahead. Fall walleye season is here—one of our favorite times of the year—and it brings plenty of opportunity for great jig fishing and big smiles on the Columbia. We’re ready to roll!
Worth the Drive, Every Time 09/17/2025
Another day at Drano Lake and another day of limits for our clients! This morning we trolled 360 flashers paired with spinners, and the hot ticket was chartreuse and pink blades. The action was steady, the rods stayed busy, and limits came quick. It’s absolutely worth the drive from the Tri-Cities to get in on this fast-paced fall salmon bite. Pro Guides Pete & Mike Strike Again 09/16/2025
It was back to the salmon grounds for both Pro Guide Pete and Pro Guide Mike as they made the drive from the Tri-Cities to Drano Lake. The goal was simple—get clients on quality salmon—and it didn’t take long to deliver. The bite came quick, the rods stayed busy, and before long the kill bags were filled with some beautiful Columbia River salmon. Another great day at Drano Lake and more happy anglers heading home with memories and fillets.
Early Start, Hot Bite on the Columbia 9/15/2025
It was back to the walleye grounds for Pro Guide Tony with a 5:00 a.m. drive over from the Tri-Cities to launch out of Umatilla, Oregon. The early start was worth it—the bite was on fire and the fishing didn’t disappoint. Plenty of action, plenty of fun, and another great day chasing Columbia River walleye. Early Limits at Drano Lake 09/13/2025
Back to the lake we go! Pro Guide Mike is once again working the waters of Drano Lake, where the fall salmon season has been producing incredible fishing. We’ve been putting in the time down in the Gorge, and the results have been nothing but smiles, full coolers, and memories for our clients. Today was no different—steady action, happy anglers, and boat limits filled early. Drano Lake continues to be one of the hottest spots for fall salmon, and the season is in full swing.
Early Bite, Big Fights: Sturgeon Out of Umatilla 09/12/2025
It was back to the sturgeon grounds for Pro Guide Tony and his crew with a 6:30 a.m. launch out of Umatilla, Oregon. The fish were ready to go early, with several sturgeon hitting the boat before 8:00 a.m. The action stayed consistent throughout the day, and the crew got a true river workout battling these Columbia River giants. The rods stayed bent, the adrenaline stayed high, and by the time the crew headed back to the Tri-Cities, it felt like a full day at the river gym. Another successful outing in the books with plenty of memories made.
Drano Lake Keeps Producing 09/11/2025
Pro Guide Pete was back at Drano Lake once again, and once again he delivered—putting salmon in the boat for happy clients. Patience Pays Off on the Sturgeon Grounds 09/10/2025
It was a day back on the sturgeon grounds for Pro Guide T-Fish as we set out of Umatilla, Oregon in search of Columbia River giants. The morning started off with a couple of smaller fish before things quieted down, leading to a slow stretch through the late morning and into the early afternoon. But as we all know, patience pays off on the river. Once the afternoon tide shifted, the bite picked back up and the action returned, giving the crew a chance to battle with some true Columbia River sturgeon. It turned into another memorable day on the water chasing these prehistoric fish. Loaded the boat and back to Tri-Cited i went after a fun successful day on the water.
Carlos and Crew Score Big at Drano Lake 09/09/2025
Pro Guide Pete hit Drano Lake this morning with Carlos and his family for a day of salmon fishing. It didn’t take long for the crew to find success—before the day was over, the boat was full of limits and they were on their way back to the Tri-Cities with smiles and memories to last. All in all, it was another awesome day on the water with great people, great fishing, and plenty of fresh salmon headed home.
