We rang in the 4th of July the best way we know how—chasing sturgeon and walleye with Michael and his boys. It was a quick trip on the water before the celebrations kicked off, but the action didn’t disappoint. Rods were bending, fish were flying, and memories were made. Happy Independence Day from all of us at FCO! We love our country, and we love sharing days like this on the water.

It was another fun-filled, mixed-bag kind of day for our guests Mark and his family—chasing both sturgeon and walleye on the Columbia. The action was steady from start to finish, with plenty of fish caught and rods bending all day long. From hard-fighting sturgeon to classic walleye bites, the crew got the best of both worlds. Beautiful weather, great company, and nonstop action—just another day out on the water the FCO way.

We kicked off July the same way we wrapped up June—putting fish in the boat for our clients. Life is good here at FCO. Today we hit the water with some of our awesome return clients, starting the morning in pursuit of Columbia River walleye. The bite was on, the rods were busy, and the crew stacked up a solid pile of fish. But we didn’t stop there. Knowing they hadn’t landed a sturgeon before, we decided to switch things up and go after one of the river’s true giants. The sturgeon have been active lately, and we couldn’t pass up the chance to put them on the fight of a lifetime. Another action-packed day, great company, and memories made on the water—just the way we like it at FCO.

We mixed it up today for the crew—and it paid off big. The morning started with a solid walleye bite. The team dialed it in early and stacked up plenty of eaters to kick things off right. With the coolers filling up, it was time to change gears. We broke out the big rods and went after some Columbia River giants. The sturgeon were ready to play, and the fight was on. From light-tackle precision to heavy-hitting battles, this crew got the full experience. Fish, fun, and a day to remember on the river.

After a great day chasing Columbia River sturgeon, it was time to switch gears and get back on the walleye grounds. And once again, Pro Guide Steve made it happen for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew. The team hit the water early and worked worm harnesses down the river, dialing in on the bite and stacking up a solid haul of eater-sized walleye. Conditions were good, and the crew stayed on the fish, turning effort into results. Walleye fishing might take patience, but with the right guide and the right gear, it pays off—and today was proof of that. Another awesome day on the water, more fish in the cooler, and more memories made. That’s how we do it at FCO.

Another fantastic day on the water with Pro Guide Steve chasing walleye across the Columbia. With flows and temps making conditions tougher, the bite’s been slower—but that’s where experience kicks in. It’s not always easy, but the FCO crew keeps making it happen, day after day. The summer walleye bite keeps rolling, and today was no different. Jeff and Dan hit the water early, put the pressure on, and had their limits before the heat kicked in. It was one of those “on the water, off the water” kind of days—fast action, fun fishing, and mission accomplished. Another solid day chasing gold on the Columbia!
