It was a beautiful day on the Columbia river walleye fishing. Today we went out of Irrigon Oregon and ran down river to a nice area holding fish. It was a quick bite this morning for Kevin and Danae as we had a sack full of walleye in just a couple hours. Once we had the keepers we wanted to take home we set out on the search for some bigger fish. The walleye fishing on the Columbia River had been nothing short of awesome. Lots of fish getting caught up and down the river. We have been currently targeting them with bottom bouncers and the has been very successful. After a great turkey hunt the Fishers Catch Outfitters team is back on the walleye grounds chasing Columbia River Walleye. We took the day off from fishing Columbia river walleye to go chase another passion we have and that is turkey hunting. Miles and i have been hunting turkeys for many years and soon if things go right, will be adding this to an adventure you could book. There is a reason out business name says outfitters. Got out on the Columbia River to do some fishing with the Local 598 crew. As we look to partner up with them for the sponsorship of Pro Guides Steve's boat, we thought we would meet on the water and discuss it. It was a windy morning so we didn't get to fish long but made the best of it while we had the opportunity. We even managed to add another club member to the "dirty 30" club. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew launched out of Boardman Oregon this day at 6 am with returning clients Doug Quay and crew. Today was a special day on the water as it was Doug's Birthday.
