With the river heating up and starting to clear up the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out from Irrigon Oregon in search of some Columbia River Sturgeon. It was a day of bent rods and lots of action for Talon and his crew. Today brought on lots of fish 19 in total with the highlight of the day being doubled up on a 7 and 8 footer. It was day two on the Columbia River with Courtney, CG, Emily and Heather form the Her Wilderness group. Todays adventure we set out to get them om some Columbia River Sturgeon. We set out of Irrigon Oregon for todays adventure. Our goal is to get 4 fish one for each of them. We surpassed that and got a couple each. The last fish of the day was a 7 foot acrobatic one leaving the water 6 times in total as Heather fought it for just over 30 minutes. It was an absolute blast of a day. With both Fishers Catch Outfitters boats on the water today we managed to fish spring salmon and walleye. Captain Steve is on the salmon grounds and we were on the walleye grounds. Today we spent the day on the water with the ladies form Her Wilderness. These ladies came from far and wide to spend a couple days on the Columbia River chasing walleye and sturgeon. Today is out day to do some walleye fishing with the heavy winds forecasted we managed to find some fishable water out of the winds. Todays walleye bit was great for the ladies, started slow but ended great. Fishers Catch Outfitters Pro Guide Steve got the ladies from down under on the Columbia River Spring Salmon. It was a blustery day on the river with winds blowing out of the west at 20+ mph. The river was angry and the fishing was tough but Captain Steve got it done! It was another day on the Columbia for Miss. B and Dan walleye fishing. Todays adventure went out of Umatilla Oregon as the wind was not playing well. We had to tuck away in some areas out of the wind to fish. The day turned out great with plenty of fish coming over the rail. Another day on the Columbia River for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew walleye fishing. Todays folks are Miss. B and Dan long time clients. Today we launched out of Boardman Oregon and managed to find a couple areas holding some nice fish. Fishers Catch Outfitters launched out of Umatilla Oregon in search of some Columbia River Walleye. We spent the day pulling around some crank boats and bottom bouncing worms. After a few days of to spend some tine with the mothers we love over Mothers Day we hit the Columbia again with some great clients in search of the Columbia River Walleye. We spent the days pulling worms and crank baits in the Umatilla Oregon area. We managed a nice bag of walleye for the guys. It was a beautiful day on the water and the fish were playing. Today we had the Townsend family join us for a day of walleye fishing to celebrate Steve's birthday. We launched out of Umatilla Oregon in search of some eater sized walleye for the Townsend family.
