April has started off great here at Fishers Catch Outfitters on the Columbia River. Both boats have been bring in lots of walleye for the clients. Today brought some challenges to us as we started with launching out of Crow Bute and in a couple hours had to load up and head up to Umatilla boat launch due to the heavy winds down river. It was another awesome day on the Columbia River chasing and catching walleye. The walleye fishing is good right now and we have some availability to get you out on a trip. It was an early morning launch time today to try and locate some big shallow ladies. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team set out in search of some Columbia River walleye and we were not disappointed with the outcome. All 5 folks on the boat got some nice fish and Lisa even busted her PB with a solid 30" walleye. It is time to get out on the water and catch some of these Columbia River walleye with us here at FCO. WOW, WOW, WOW I really cant say anything more than that. Had the morning off from guiding so thought we would go out and try and get the captain a new personal best walleye. It was a morning to remember that is for sure. We hit the water around 1am and fish until 6am. In that time we landed 23 beautiful walleye, all released for another angler to catch and enjoy. I did manage to find myself a new Personal Best with a nice walleye coming in at 32" and 13.6 lbs. We also managed 3 other over 30" and another awesome 32" walleye. It was a day we had both FCO boats on the water. Fishers Catch Outfitters Pro Guide Steve set pout to put his crew on some eater walleye.  He headed to the walleye jigging grounds and managed to have another great day. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out a little early this morning and well it was the right move. We started the day in the dark looking for some bigger walleye pulling cranks and found 10 quality fish. We released 6 beautiful fish that measured over 15" One going 29" and around 12 lbs.  Once the day broke and the sun cam up we set back out to the jigging grounds and jigged up some smaller eaters. It was another day of jigging walleye for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and the folks fishing with us today. It is time to get out and get you on some of these great Columbia River Walleye. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team put a heck of a day together for the folks that joined us today. The Les Schwab boat went down with the need of some wheel bearings. So we ste out on the FCO2 boat and had a walleye day to remember. Lots of great fishing an fun. It was a jig fest once again today. We also managed to get a fun fight with a bonus catch and release 44" Columbia River Sturgeon.
