What an adventure! Pass closed on us Saturday night. Took us over 6 hours to drive East. We slept in and didn’t even push off until 9 am. Started of trolling worm harnesses were it was non stop action. Wind picked up a little so we switched to jigging. Put on an absolute clinic on these fish. Doubles, triples, fish flying over the rails. All of nice quality fish. Tony Fisher was on them! The Fishers Catch Outfitters team is back on the Columbia River Walleye grounds. It appears the water has cleared yup a bit and the bite is back in full swing. Did a little pre-scout fishing with my buddy Tyler from Hell Bent River Charters and we found some nice fish. It was a morning of pulling worm harnesses and a little bit of jigging. The bit was soft and you needed to be patient but we got them. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team took a few days to go chase some steelhead in Hells Canyon with their great friends and Outfitters Hell Bent River Charters. It was 4 days of fun fighting steelhead, back trolling shrimp. We managed to get out limits each day and get a little more action with some wild fish.
