The Fishers Catch Outfitters team is still in full swing on winter walleye. The bite has been good the last few weeks and we have been putting plenty of eaters in the Les Schwab boat for our clients . The winning technique for putting fish in the boat has been jigging. Day two with Joe and Lynn from Casper. We had a great day on the Columbia yesterday putting plenty of eater walleye n the Les Schwab boat. Today we set out foe their trophy walleye. We are looking for the infamous 30" walleye today. We fell a little short. We manage to catch 15 nice walleye but none that went 30". All in all another great day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters Crew on the mighty Columbia river. It was the start of a couple days with Joe and Lynn chasing winter walleye. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team set out the next couple days in search of so eaters for the team to take home as well as a trophy 30' walleye. We searched hard the first day and fished 16 hors in search of eaters and a trophy. We found the eaters and some great fish, but not the 30" fish today. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team kicked of March with a retention sturgeon tip. It was a great trip for the group that joined us today. The fishing was good and the weather was awesome. Plenty of winter sturgeon action here on the Columbia River. We managed to even get them on the fish they were looking for and sent them home with some meat. It was a day off the winter walleye and a day of chasing Columbia River Sturgeon. What a fun day catching these great fish. We managed to hook up to a couple big ones, this took the Fishers Catch Outfitters boat of anchor and down river to chase. It was a great day of great fishing and great weather. The Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab boat was on break today getting some much needed pm service. So with the down time I took of to Chelan to see if I could start my spring stock up on Kokanee. It was a couple great days relaxing and hanging out with my buddy Jeff with Carltons Guide Service. We managed to get out fish and take in some of the beautiful sights as well. We spent a couple hours on the Columbia River with Chris looking for some 30" walleye. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team has been in search of some trophy night CPR walleye for clients. This night produced some nice fish but no 30" fish. We will continue night trips through April in search of the bigger fish. All fish caught at night are released. It was a windy couple days on the Columbia river for the No-Dak boys. The winds were out of the south west and blowing hard. Pushed of off the fishing grounds where we have been getting our fish. We ground out a couple decent hours of fishing to get the guys some nice walleye. It was a tough bit for the Fisher Catch Outfitters group in the wind but these guys ground out the rough river and managed to capitalize.
