The walleye fishing on the Columbia River continues to be awesome. With the fish moving into the spawn many younger fish are feeding and making for a great walleye bite. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team is managing 40-80 fish to the boat per trip. The water temps are at 50 degrees and fish are being found in- feet of water. Trolling worm harnesses and vertical jigging is what is working for the Les Schwab boat. It was a fun day on the Columbia River with this crew! The Fishers Catch Outfitters team set out to get the kids some walleye action. We started the day out of the Wallula gap area, but the wind quickly pushed us down bellow McNary. With the water calm down there we managed to get the team on some nice walleye. With the last year for the "Legend" to be able to jump on the early birds with the youth turkey hunt. We set out to meet up with our buddy Kyle that had us lined out on some private land to hunt. We managed to roost some nice Toms the night before and get a nice set up on them in the morning. Mile's put the beat down on a couple nice Toms with a double up. The Fishers Catch Outfitters team is looking to lock down some property to put clients of some of these great birds in the future. Let us know your interest?
