Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report
July 11th Sockeye whooping
It was another great day on the water fishing for sockeye. We worked up a good bite and had a lot of fun beating these little guys up. We managed to get an early limit and get off the water at 5:30.
July 10th Wacking Walleye
After chasing Sockeye the last few days on the Columbia River the Fishers Catch Outfitters boat hit the river in search of some nice eating walleye for out clients. It was a slow start but we managed to find some fish and jig them up. Worm harnesses and jigs seemed to be the ticket for us today to get these fish in the boat. Bryan had a good time getting these fish to the dinner table! We even managed to meet up and say hi to one of my good friends Gerry with Flat Out Fishing!
July 9th evening Sockeye
Got to get out on the Columbia after work with a couple buddies to get after some of the great Sockeye that are running in town. We manage to get on a nice rip in 8 feet of water running 25' back with spinners and shrimp and produce some nice sockeye. Charlie got his first ever Sockeye and made a memory of a life time. You can see that joy in the picture.
July 4th
The Columbia River continues to produce some great fishing opportunities the month of July. With mixed fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew, we are putting multiple species to the boat. Today we fished the Tri-Cities area for the great tastings Sockeye Salmon that are running up river. We managed to get a limit of these great fish for the table. Now is the time to get your Sockeye and Summer Chinook trips booked with us or your favorite guide. Contact us her at 509.727.7137.
July 3rd evening Sockeye
With the morning walleye trip in the books and a good one it was. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew hit the Columbia again to get in on some of the hot Sockeye action. It was not without fail that this was a great night on the water. With a couple different anchor sets we managed to get the sockeye we were in search of. We decided to overnight on a spot that was producing fish so we could get Roger and Nikki their first sockeye as well on the 4th. It is time to book your Sockeye and Summer Chinook trips. The fishing is hot and the weather is great 509.727.7137.
July 3rd Walleye Friday
Took some returning clients out for a first time walleye trip. It was a great day on the water with the group. The fishing started of a little slow with just a few fish in the early morning. Spent some time moving around but found a nice stretch holding fish and managed to put some noice walleye in the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled. Could not have asked for a nicer or more beautiful day on the water. If you are looking to get out on the water give us a call at 509.727.7137.
Sockeye Sunday 6.28.2020
Miles and I decided to go give Sockeye another run. Saturday seemed to prove a little tough for us as we were not able to put any Sockeye in the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled. After a morning at church we decided to hit the water and see what we could do. It was not a disappointment, we set up on our fist spot and blanked. With the move to a different spot we managed to limit out on the Sockeye we were in need of and add a playful bonus Summer Chinook to the fun. The Chinook was released but the Sockeye are hitting the BBQ. If you are looking to get out on the water this 2020 season give us a call, we have a few dates left 509.727.7137.
June 26 Walleye
Had a great day on the Columbia River walleye fishing. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew cranked up some nice walleye for the guys. It was a day of good catching and great fun. Even managed to land some big girls and release them for another day. It was the perch pattern that got done today, running shallow and slow! If you are looking to get out on the water and get after some of these great tasting fish give us a call here at Fishers Catch Outfitters 509.727.7137.
June 21 st walleye Fathers Day
Got back out on the Columbia today with another 3 generations celebrating Fathers day with each other. It was a windy morning to get through but we managed to find some fish. The bass wanted to play big today, I bet we landed 20 of them and kept a few big ones to taco up. It was a fun day and weekend on the water. If you are wanting to get out on the water and do some fishing for yourself give us a call here ate Fishers Catch Outfitters 509-727-7137!!
