Fishers Catch Outfitters Fishing Report
8.15 Upper Columbia
The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew had a last minute cancelation today. With no clients showing we hit the water ourselves. We were trying some new tactics that we have not tried before today and well I will say they worked we had out limit to the boat by 10am and were headed back home for a Sunday off. We have one more weekend north on the upper Columbia. If you are looking to get in on some of this action give us a call we will be there 28, 29 and 30th of this month.
8.14 Salmon on the Upper Columbia
With no clients Friday the 14th Miles and I decided to go w=see if we could get on some fish in preparation for our Saturday clients. It was a bit of a grind for our kings at Bee-Bee Bridge but we manage to get 3 to the boat by 11am. We then took off to the Brewster pool to see if we could get some of them great eating sockeye in the cooler. It was time to do a little grocery shopping for the FCO team. It was a great day on the upper Columbia putting fish to the FCO boat. Give us a call if you want in on some of this action. We are now booking our second boat for the upcoming fall season on the Hanford reach.
Evening Stureon and Walleye 8/12
The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew got out on the water for and evening sturgeon and walleye trip with special guest Alonzo Mitz. You may know him as the late 80's early 90's #61 defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks. The big man wanted to get out on the water while he was in town visiting some family and friends. We managed to get out and get after the great Columbia river sturgeon. It was about an hour into our trip and boom, fish on. We had the fun of watching Alonso wrestle with a nice 9 foot beast. It was one heck of a good fight for the both of them big man against big fish. The night turned out great with Alonzo landing his first sturgeon and first walleye. He ended hos trip with a nice walleye lunch prepared by the cooks at Clover Island Inn.
8.8.2020 Upper Conlumbia
With the Summer season just abut wrapped up for the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew this season on the Upper Columbia, I must say we did not knock them dead. The fishing is producing well for many. It is time to get in on a little bit of the action if you are looking to get some Summer Sockeye and Kings in the freezer. The fish are cutting well and fighting even better! With one more weekend on the upper Columbia we will see what we can get done. I don't think the Banana was much help.
8/2 Salmon Upper Columbia
Spent the morning on the water with Brian from Brian's Boat accessories. If you are looking for a great anchor that works well and looks great hanging off the front of your sled get in touch with Brian. It was a great morning on the Columbia non the less. If you are wanting to get in on some summer kings or Brewster Sockeye give us a call here at FCO 509.727.7137.
Upper Columbia Salmon Fishing 8/1
We had a cancelation, so Mike and Skip decided to book the boat for a half day and we managed to get them on some Summer Kings. Todays bite was a little slower for us and did not have the opportunities we had yesterday but we still managed to put some nice kings to the FCO boat. Pulling spinners and cranks baits to make it happen. It was another fun day at Chelan Falls bonking kings. If you want in on some of this actions get your boat booked for the 2021 season now @ 509.727.7137
Upper Columbia Salmon
The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew spent the day on the Upper Columbia doing a little Salmon Fishing with Mike and Skip. We started with some early morning king fishing on the Columbia at Chelan Falls and them moved up river just a ways looking for Sockeye. Fell a little short on limits, but not because we did have our chances. It was a morning and afternoon of loosing fish. Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant. All in all had a blast with these two! If you are looking to get out on the water to experience a great day of fishing give us a call here at FCO 509.727.7137
July 26th Upper Conlumbia Salmon Fishing with Montana Bob
Day number 3 with Montana Bob. Much of the same plan with starting the day searching for Kings out of Bee Bee Park, managed to get one on line but ended up breaking it off. It was just a few minutes later that the rods went off again and Bob was in the fight. Within a few minutes Bob had a nice summer chinook on the deck. It was just a few minutes latter the rod buried and Bob gave it a tug and the fish tugged back pulling Bob to the floor. It wasn't much after that the fish escaped the doom of the fish bonk! We managed to get a couple more nice rips that didn't stick so off to the sockeye grounds we go. If you are looking to get out on the upper Columbia and get into some of this great action, give us a call here at FCO (509)-727-7137.
July 25th Upper Columbia Salmon
The Upper Columbia is producing some nice fishing action. Between the Chinooks out of Bee Bee park and the Sockeye out of Brewster pool the clients on the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled are all smiles. It was a day of razzing and poking at the guys for the amount of fish lost. We managed to boat one wild chinook today and lost a couple others. With the chinook bite slowing in the afternoon we loaded up and headed to the Brewster pool to trey and get out sockeye limits. We needed 12 fish to limit the boat. With the amount of fish we lost I dint think we were going to make it happen. But the crew pulled it off even with the last fish being a little harder to get to bite. All in all a fun day on the Big C. If you are looking to get into some of this action give [...]
