With a break from Upper Columbia chasing Salmon the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew could not stay off the water. We set out in search of some Columbia River white sturgeon for a client out to Texas, and boy did we find some. It was a fun trip and lots of fish to be caught. We managed to boat 20 sturgeon before we ended out day. The sizes ranges from 30" to just over 6 feet. Now it time to start our fall Salmon fishing here in Tri-Cities.

It was another weekend for the Fishers  Catch Outfitters crew on the upper Columbia River. With the fall salmon season just around the corner here in Tri-Cities, we decided to do one last trip up the river. It was a tough weekend for the FCO crew and we did not get a lot of bites and list a couple fish. We managed to put a couple nice hatchery fish in the box and landed 3 nice wild fish that were released to do their thing. All in all had a great early season on the Upper Columbia and we are already looking forward to this fishery next year. It was a slow start to the day on the Upper Columbia chasing Kings. After a couple three hours of dragging supper- baits around we managed to find some fish. The water flows were down and the fish did not want to play. Even with fish on the screen throughout the water system we could not get a take-down. Persistence paid off  we just kept with it and by the 3pm hour in the day we managed to boat the King Salmon we were in search of. The Fishers Catch Outfitters crew and friends got it done.    

With another day of opportunity for the Fishers Catch Outfitters sled on the water for a quick morning bite. We did not waste any time getting some nice upper Columbia river kings in the box.  Due to the fact we had to travel home today we only fished a few runs in the morning and got the fish we were looking for. The last fish of the day went over 25# and 37" it was a beauty for  a first king ever kind of day for the guys!  

It was another good start to a weekend of fishing for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team on the Upper Columbia. The morning started off a little slow but we managed to get our fish. With  a storm moving on across the area the rain and wind mad it fun for the two boats that stayed on the water, yup one of them was the Les Schwab boat! The water held steady out the dam and the fishing was good all day, lots of bites. We did not land all the fish that wanted to play but a heck of a fun day!  

It was another day for the Fishers Catch Outfitters team on the upper Columbia. Miles, Ron and Myself decided to take the 3 hour drive up and back to see if we could out some more summer salmon in the Les Schwab boat. We managed to scratch out a few with what was a slow bite for us, seemed to be slow for all. We ended the day with 3 fish to the net. All in all any day of salmon fishing and spending time on the water is a great day. We still have a few fall dates available if you are looking to get on the water.

With the weekend coming to and end, the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew set out for another day of Salmon fishing on the Upper Columbia River. The weekend thus far has proven to be very fun and a success. We have managed a limit of Summer Salmon each day we have been on the water. The fish are here and we are catching. With the weather playing nice and the salmon wanting to play, the Fishers Catch Outfitters crew headed back out on the water to see it we could get some more salmon in the boat. The Fishers Catch Outfitter crew decided to take off and go fish some new water. We headed out to fish the Upper Columbia bellow Wells Dam. It proved to be a good call and a fun weekend with the fish wanting to play and many salmon being brought to the Fishers Catch Outfitters / Les Schwab boat. These fish were some hard fighting fun catches. This is our first day on the water and with a limit of nice salmon we decided to stay another couple days.
